Careers

Think not what The Byre can do for you… but what you can do for The Byre!

If you would like to get involved with your local theatre, meet the folk behind the scenes and see some amazing performances – we’d like to talk to you about volunteering as part of our Front of House team.

We are currently looking for volunteers to support our year round programme at The Byre with a commitment from you of at least one event per week.

AND

We are looking for people who would like to be involved in Byre In The Botanics, our season of events happening in the heart of St Andrews this summer. www.BITB.com
You need to commit to a minimum of four days during Byre In The Botanics.

Some experience is preferred, but it is not a requirement as full training will be given.

You will be responsible for welcoming visitors to our events, showing them to their seats and ensuring their safety throughout performances and events. The positions are voluntary and involve evening and weekend work. If you are aged 16+, are interested in being a part of the Byre team and would like to help or find out more information, please email Front of House Manager with your CV and a short covering letter cs268@st-andrews.ac.uk.

The deadline for applications is noon on Friday 16 June. You will receive full training and you will also get reduced price and complimentary tickets to our events (conditions apply).

If you are aged 16+ and are interested in getting involved, please get in touch with the Front of House Manager, Christine Sinclair.
