Have you always wanted to know what our pets get up to when we leave them every morning? Max the terrier lives a quiet and unpredictable life in a Manhattan apartment building. But, when his owner adopts a mongrel called Duke, his life is turned upside down. After an encounter with The Flushed Pets, an embittered group of animals who roam the sewers, Duke is captured by Animal Control. Max realises the importance of their friendship and reconciles with The Flushed Pets, and enlists the help of the brave dog, Gidget. Max is desperate to rescue Duke and reunite him with their owner, and he won’t let anything get in his way. This comedy features an array of talking animals, including Chloe the cat and Norman the Guinea Pig.
