Preserved as one of The United States’ most important films, Now Voyager tells the story of Charlotte Vale (Bette Davis), a repressed, unattractive and overweight spinster suffers at the tyrranical hands of her mother until her sister in law encourages her to spend time in a sanatorium, followed by a cruise where she meets the charming Jerry Durance and his friends. But, will her new friendships and experiences encourage her to confront her mother and live the life she’s dreamed of? This touching love story is a classic from the golden age of Hollywood cinema and features Paul Henreid in the supporting lead.
