A Kind of Alaska by Harold Pinter (1982)

Based on Oliver Sacks’s memoir, Awakenings, Pinter’s thought-provoking play sees Deborah, a lively sixteen-year-old fall victim to a strange sleeping sickness. Twenty-nine years later she awakens and gradually tries to adjust to the world around her. Rapture presents an unmissable new production of this astonishingly prescient play by one of the twentieth century’s most influential writers.
