We are heartbroken, along with our wonderful friends at SAMS to announce that, due to the nasty weather and all the safety and supply issues associated with it, the whole run of Sister Act has been cancelled.
We’re sorry to disappoint so many people. We know that the SAMS team had put their hearts and souls in to the show and that we were all really looking forward to it. To that end – we are looking at The Byre’s packed schedule and working with SAMS to make the show happen later in the year and as soon as we can.
If you have a ticket for the current run – we would be grateful if you could be patient with us and we will make sure that your tickets are valid for the new dates. We will let you know as soon as we sort things out and, if you can’t make the new dates, we will give you a refund. We intend to have the plan agreed and details to you within 14 days and so would be grateful if you would not contact the box office with regards to this until we have sent you details of the proposed new dates.
Please note that the additional shows planned for Sunday are also cancelled.
The Byre Theatre building will close later this afternoon and not re-open now until Sunday, when we intend to stage Orpheus in the Underworld as planned.
Please be safe and follow the advice of all the agencies out there who are doing their best to keep us safe.
