Arts Projects

The Byre develops projects focussing on reaching out to sectors of the local community to engage with the arts and promote well-being, and offers opportunities for participating, learning, training and professional development.

Developing community engagement activity contributes to engaging audiences and participants in performing arts activity. This work is integral to the holistic vision for the Byre Theatre with a particular focus on young people and harder to reach groups, and is part of the Byre’s commitment to growth; personal growth of individual participants, growth of audiences and growth of access to the arts. Participation is intended to enable genuine diversity and accessibility to the arts.
