Theatre for Wellbeing: Mental Health for 12 – 14 Year Olds

Theatre for Mental Health and Wellbeing – 12 – 14 Year Olds

This project is a series of arts-based, supportive sessions for young people aged 12-14 who are experiencing mental health difficulties. Sessions include drama games, movement work, voice work, improvisation, story making, character exploration and art making. This project is led by an HCPC registered Dramatherapist. Sessions are facilitated by a theatre facilitator and trainee Dramatherapist.

Now in it’s 3rd phase, the project has previously supported young people at the Byre Theatre, and now continues to run exclusively for pupils in a local secondary school.
