A married couple reflect on their lives together as they navigate ageing and the changes it brings in this contemplative documentary; emotional and frank discussions cover themes of death, illness and challenging life events.

*Sands films are selected by our Festival Director, Ania Trzebiatowska (who is also a feature film programmer for the Sundance Film Festival), in collaboration with a hand picked group of Student Curators from the University of St Andrews Department (which was ranked first in the UK for Media and Film Studies by The Guardian Good University Guide 2025.)

You can book for Byre performances, screenings, and events any time at byretheatre.com, by phone on 01334 475 000, or in person at the box office.

Box Office is open 10.00am-4.30pm Monday to Saturday, except when there is an evening event, when it remains open until after the performance starts. It is closed on Sundays, unless there is a performance, when box office opens two hours before the start time.

Refreshments at the Byre
