StAnza 26 (Online): A Home in Space: exploring Edwin Morgan’s concrete poetry

To mark the release of Home in Space, Greg Thomas and Julie Johnstone guide you through Edwin Morgan’s concrete, visual and sound poetry. Drawing on Morgan’s inventive spirit, you’ll try new approaches to making your own work.

This interactive online workshop sees Greg and Julie share unpublished and rarely seen visual materials from Morgan’s experimental practice. They will guide you through Morgan’s speculative work, which accesses the non-human experiences of animals, computers and extra-terrestrials as a way into new creative territories.

All ticketed, digital events cost £5. A Digital Festival Pass is also available for £30 for unlimited access to all livestreamed events (please note: the digital pass does not include online workshops).

You can book for Byre performances, screenings, and events any time at byretheatre.com, by phone on 01334 475 000, or in person at the box office.

Box Office is open 10.00am-4.30pm Monday to Saturday, except when there is an evening event, when it remains open until after the performance starts. It is closed on Sundays, unless there is a performance, when box office opens two hours before the start time.
